Hi everyone! I am getting two rats and was wondering what kind of cage should I get? I have looked everywhere and I am not sure what kind or how big the cage should be.....
THANKS!

Post this in pet general, and you should get a lot more replies!;) As for me, I'm only the guinea pig expertise!:)

I really like Martin's cages.

I have the The Rat Skyscraper (R-695) for our three rats and love it.

Remember that you need at least 2 cubic feet of space per rat. The The Rat Cabin (R-670) would be good if you only have two rats. Also make sure that the wire is powder coated. If not then the urine will soak into the wire and really start to stink and create rust after a while.

This is a neat program to figure out how many rats a cage can hold. You just type in the cage measurments and it will tell you how many rats can fit in it.
