New Camera!

I have been wanting to get a small camera to carry in my purse. I've looked at many of them, but since I just got a nice new one for Christmas I didn't want to spend alot of money. There's many cheap ones out there but I'm greedy, I wanted a cheap good one;)
Well today was my lucky day! For some reason I decided to go to Sears and look at their cameras. I just knew they would all be too much or too big for me but I went anyway. And there it was...my camera! I wanted a Canon Elph but the new ones are like $400, but there on the shelf sat a Canon Elph (http://www.steves-digicams.com/2004_reviews/sd110.html) for $128!!!!
I couldn't belive it, I was so excited! It was brand new (not the floor model) and came with it's own batteries, charger and a 16 MB card:D
I messed around with it tonight and I love it! It takes awesome pictures and 30 seconds of video with sound. It's pretty easy to operate since I already have one Canon, but would be easy for any beginner also.

And I've attached a small video also. Some of the pictures were taken in high quality and some in low, but they all turned out pretty good I think.

Just thought I'd post this for any of you who have been wanting to get a new cheaper camera (I found them online too, but not quite as cheap).

Anna the video is a scream! Bon is such a funny boy!!! I enjoyed the other ones of Bon and his new pool but this was was hilarious! I can't believe you can do all of this with such an inexpensive camera. I know nothing about cameras. I use hubby's hand-me-down since he bought himself a new one with all of the bells and whistles. I just point and shoot. I should probably read my little booklet. Maybe I could be doing more with it. :rolleyes: I would love to take movies but I know mine can't do that. In the meantime I will settle for enjoying yours! Too funny!

Great pics! That Bon is such a character. He really didn't like that mean old hose, did he? You've got to keep taking lots of videos of him with that pool. He's just so cute. Now, you can have the joy of having a camera with you all the time. You never have to say "I wish I had a camera." I wouldn't be without mine for anything.

Yep, that video was hilarious! He loves the new pool but doesn't like that nasty hose;)
