I am not for sure when Kylie's birthday is but I remember my friend that I got her from brought her and her brother home about a week or 2 after the 4th of July so I suppose that means she was born sometime early in the month of June.
You came to me a fearful little girl. Your first mom loved you but her desire for a man to control her life was much stronger then her love for you. And she unfortunately had to pick one that is very mean hearted and cruel. And therefore he was very cruel to you. I thank God she had the presence of mind to ask for help in finding you a new home, and I thank God that I was ready to allow a kitty into my heart.
I had a cat or 2 as a kid but never one that I allowed to come into my heart and curl into a tortillini around it and stay there.
It didn't take you long to bond with me, took a bit longer to bond with my Shaianne - you were leary of her of course.
About the time that you were bonding with her is when she crossed to the bridge. You helped me thru that, licking my tears away.
Then came a little red butterball named Keegan. Boy were you mad!!!! It took a long time but now you love her (I think anyway ;)) and cuddle with her. Then a few years later along came a tiny little tortie fluffball, that you have tolerated wonderfully. Admittidly things didn't go as I had planned but we have made it through it.
You have been with me thru the death with Shaianne, the death of my beloved Grandparents and more. You have very much blossomed in your own right also, just not in fluffiness. :p ;)
You have given me a few scares over the years, and have to be sneaked into the hospital incognito to be xrayed. ;) shhhhh that's our secret...
I hope you are around for a long time to come.
I love you sweets.
And in honor of her birthday here is her spotlight.......
