Kunan has left us....

What the white coats thought was just a stubborn hairball turned out to be much worse. I took Kunan to the ER vet on Sunday morning. He was pale, dehydrated and his kidneys were starting to shut down. They immediately gave him IV fluids and did a few xrays. Tehy were very upbeat that he would more than likely recover. Unfortunately that was not to be. They called about 7:45 Sunday night to say he was going into cardiac arrest and did we want them to do CPR...making the hardest decision of my life, I said no, let him go...play hard fuzzball, I miss you more than you will ever know...:( :( :( :( :(

Another one with kidney problems. It just seems kidney problems are so prevalent these days and it all just brings me right back to last December. :(

Rest in peace and love Kunan... So sorry you had to make a decision like that - I hope I don't have to do that but one day I'm sure i will..... That was one thing that always stopped me from getting a pet - I knew I'd have to let them go one day after falling in love with them but I have learned finally that it is better to have a pet and love them for as long as you can... Oh my I am so sorry. May Kunan be happy, healthy & whole again purring at the bridge.

I can relate, I'm going through kidney problems with one of my dogs at the moment. Its a tough battle thats for sure.
