I'd like to make a movie for my dad for his birthday. There would be no moving clips as none of us have a camcorder, it'd be more of a collage of many years' worth of photos. I was thinking of having photos "fly in" and then filter out as new photos come in. I'm pretty software-knowledgable and computer-literate but I don't know what's out there for this kind of thing. Anyone have any good suggestions? I'm a print graphic designer and use HTML fairly well, if this helps any. Thanks in advance!!
Edit: I know PowerPoint can do this and I've even done that, but the recipient also has to have PowerPoint or at least PowerPoint Viewer, and I'd like to be able to take this movie and use it anywhere, so it needs to be some kind of universal format like .wav or ??
