And what really surprises me is she is going with her cousin Gavin (I didn't think she enjoyed his company that much.)

They have both dug out the hats and mufflers and are ready for a ROAD TRIP to Salt Lake City.

Tell them to bundle up and get ready! Do Noah and Noel have favorite sports?

Bundle up is right - it's very cold here!!!

Well...Noel likes laying on daddy when he watches baseball...but I guess they don't play that in the Winter Olympics, huh? :)

Purrley, Are you going to be going to any of the events?

No - it will be a mad house and besides I couldn't afford to. I know a few people who are going to the Opening Ceremonies and they paid $325.00 for nose bleed seats - I mean really nose bleed seats. I will be in the front row - that is in my living room in front of the TV:D :D

I believe "sitting on human while watching others" is a BIG favorite with both Edwina and Gavin. Although neither has a medal (yet) they both are avid enthusiast.

Edwina,

That has to be Noel's life mission! We can sit down anywhere for more than 2 minutes without her coming over. (Even while we eat dinner!!) Thank goodness she is a little thing... :)

Purrley,

That sounds like the perfect seat! Becides, I bet its too cold out there anyway to be outside! :D

Yes, I'll be nice and warm, have access to food, I'll be near the potty:) and best of all - I'll have all my furkids with me:D :D

Well....that last part (OK, the two last parts, I NEED a regualr potty, thank you! :) ) would decide for me....sit on comfy couch with furbabies or sit in cold, metal chairs in cold, wet weather...hmmm! I think you made the ONLY decision you could have made!

When does everything begin? As you can probably tell, I'm not big on sports.... :)

Is Edwina going as a specator, supporter, or a contestant? Seeing how cute she looks in a costume, can we look forward to seeing her in a cute little outfit doing triple axles (sp?) and graceful leaps and such??? Or is she an official lap-warmer???

Edwina and I have ben discussing exactly what role she will take. As she points out they keep adding new "sports" to the Olympics but I have told her I still don't think catnapping has made it. She thought balance beam until I pointed out that is a Summer Event and...she would have to balance on just two limbs. Unfortunately I was unable to find either skates or skis to fit her.

So she and Gavin had decided just to be spectators. And they have promised me that no matter how much some 2002 version of Tanya Harding offers them -- they won't sneak on the ice and trip any contestants, no leaping from the sidelines onto the back of any slalomers, and, even though they saw it on T.V. no standing around on the bobsled run!

Should we try gaining support for a new Olympic event?

*AHEM* Here ye, here ye! Now calling all contestants and supporters for the new Olympic Event: See who can spoil the fresh litter box the quickest!
