I just have to share this!
I've got neighbors that have a beautiful sleek tortie and they let her run around outside. She has been spayed so they didn't have to worry about kittens. They didn't keep her in the house often because of their young daughter being too rough with her. Well, anyway, they are moving and asked if we'd like to keep the cat! So she's my girl now!
I do have to confess this wasn't out of the blue, though.;) For a while now, I'd been letting Neko into the house for a snack and if I forgot to put her out at night....well, that happens sometimes. The other day I got caught putting her outside; my neighbors were working on their car and looked up just in time to see me release their cat. :eek: When Mike told me someone wanted to speak to me yesterday the first thing I thought was, 'They want to know if I've got their cat in my house!' :eek: (Which I did!:D )
Instead, they said since they knew I loved her, I could keep her and she could my little neko from now on! :D
