Tomorrow morning, my husband and I leave (with Samantha the pup!) for vacation! We're going down to the Outer Banks for an entire week and won't be back 'til late Monday the 13th. We're mostly going for vacation but we'll also be celebrating our 1st Year Anniversary, which is Sunday. Hard to believe it's been almost a year already!

(As a matter of fact today, it was a year ago today exactly that our church burnt down. Ahhhh the memories...)

That's where we went on our honeymoon, and also for our 5th anniversary; and planning our 10th in 2 years!!! It's a great romantic place! :)

The Outer Banks is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. I hope you have a wonderful trip. How great that Samantha gets to go along!!!! :)

Justin and I spent our first anniversary at Outer Banks too. We too were there just for a vacation, it just happened to be our anniversary when we went. Have Fun!

Well, we're back - got home Sunday evening around 5pm. We had loads of fun and the Outer Banks were very cool though I don't know I'd go back to where we stayed again (Avon - very secluded, not much to do, etc.).

Samantha had a blast - she loved the ocean! She ran straight for it when we first went and just stood there like "Cool!" until the first wave broke over here and then she hightailed it for higher ground. Didn't stop her though - as the waves receded, she'd chase them "into" the ocean and when she saw a swell coming towards us she'd run back up out of reach. It was hilarious. But she loved it.

I didn't forget the camera... but I did forget the digital. So I'll have to wait until I can take the film to get developed. D'oh! I'll post pictures soon! Promise!
