I finally had enough time to go through my U2 concert photos from 5/24.
Our seats were pretty good for the lights and big screens.
It was a great concert even though it was pouring rain when we left.

We had better seats on the 26th and a closer view for an amazing concert.:)

Aww, your photos are great!! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed it so much!

I have to be honest, their old stuff is really all I know. I think the last U2 CD I got was the Joshua Tree. :D :D :D Until you started your U2 threads, I really had no idea that they were still so popular! :D I think of their peak as around about the time of Live Aid! :D

They are going to tour Europe now until the end of the summer.
Killearn Kitties, tell me that you haven't heard of Vertigo or Elevation or Beautiful Day then I will believe that you have been hiding under a rock.;)
I would say that U2 and the Rolling Stones are the two biggest rock bands right now and they are both on tour now.
All the U2 concerts are sold out within minutes of going on sale.
I should have my photos from the second concert ready to post this weekend.:)
Oh and KK, I love the Joshua Tree and the War albums but their new songs are quite good too.:)
Yes they were The Band of the 80's but they are still going after 25 years!:cool:

Get ready Lut! Their next concert is June 10th in Brussels Belgium at the King Baudouin Stadium!
How far are you from Brussels?
Those trucks carry the stage setup and lights and a lot of equipment including 38 guitars for Edge!
They are doing a different stage setup for the European shows because they are going to be bigger crowds in outdoor arenas.
