Northern European Mutt, with a good helping of French Canuck thrown in, and a few other bloodlines mixed in for good measure.

Lady's Human is my brother - to get more specific, we're (don't try saying this all in one breath): Swedish, English, French Canadian, a bit of Micmac, Norman French (Grandma Smith made that distinction), with some Irish, Scottish, smidges of German, Bavarian, and who-knows-what-else!

Hispanic. My mothers side of the family is very Spanish though, they traveled to Mexico in the late 1500s or early 1600. I get my dark skin from my father so I'm assuming his side of the family is a mix of spanish and either mayan or aztec.

lets see, I have a little scottish, but almost entirly irish on my dads side, and my moms side is almost entirly finnish, but my grandpa is considered swedish, he was shipped to sweden as a young kid during the war, so he has no idea what he was born, but he was raised swedish lol my mom was born in finland though so I am pretty much 50% finnish, 40% Irish, 10% scottish, 1% swedish, and 100% canadian lol

My ancestors were Scottish, English, French, German.

My mother has a portion of her family traced all the way back to Robert the Bruce in Scotland... one of our direct ancestors married Robert the Bruce's daughters... so *technically*, I'm royalty. ;) When I was over in Scotland, I went to the cathedral in Paisely and saw my ancestors name on the geneaology tapestry. It was pretty cool.

Oh boy I know almost all of it and who it came from in our family tree, but its definatly a large mix. 1/2 Blackfoot, and a small bit of Winnebago and Oneida Native American heritage, French, and a sliver of each of the following- Irish, Belgian, Scottish, and a bit of German that I like to leave out. There'd be more if they were in direct bloodlines to me.

I notice a few people mention the Mayflower. It's funny but only recently have Australians felt comfortable with mentioning that they were related to a First Fleeter, the majority of the First Fleet being convicts of course. People would deny their heritage with their dyinbg breath that admit they were related to a convict. Some of those very same convicts not only became pillars of society, but helped shaped the country to what it is today, and fortunately I feel, nowadays people wear there "First Fleet convict" tag very proudly. History can be a facsinating thing. Our familys ultimate ancestor (as far back as we've been able to go) was eventually beheaded by the Duke of Cumberland, for fighting alongside the Jacobites. He had his head stuck on a pike evidently.

Mostly Italian, Irish, German, and British...

My grandpa is Italian.. his parents came here in the 1900s from Italy.. my grandma was Irish.. so her parents came from Ireland.. I think it's pretty cool that I'm part Irish.. cause I would LOVE to visit Ireland someday, Italy too as well. :)

On my dad's side, a relative fought in the Civil War - as one of the Ohio Volunteers.. So I'm thinking my dad's side has been here since the 1800s..

Interesting thread! I think geneology is so interesting.

I'm a typical Heinz 57.

My dad's side of the family is 1/2 German and 1/2 Luxembourg

My mom's side of the family is: Irish, Italian, Dutch, French and German

so that makes me.....100% Heinz 57 American! :p
