A few Disney pictures and update

Disney was feeling unusually cooperative with the camera so I thought I would share.

As for her condition, she is holding her own but steadily getting worse. Her mind is slipping away and it's so sad to see how much, almost daily. Sometimes I find her just staring at the wall, not for long but for several minutes before she snaps out of it and walks away. Her life is rather routined and she's almost robot like. We still get an occasional tail wag.

I don't how much longer she will be with us but I don't feel she is in pain, just lost in her own world.

I think about Disney often, and wonder how she is making out. It's funny I saw a post by you earlier in the evening and thought about asking, but decided not to. I am glad you posted an update and pictures of that sweet little girl. I am glad to hear that she is not in any pain. She is a cute little girl (love the last pic). I will keep her in my thoughts.

Disney is really a cute dog. :) A lot of things you say about her remind me of Smokey (RB), he would stare like that too.

Thank you for these pictures. I have missed seeing Disney and am so sorry she is losing ground mentally. One of my RB poodles, Pumpkin, lived to be 17 and he often had that *far away* look on his face. Part of his problem was that he became deaf and just really couldn't hear what was going on. He also had cataracts so couldn't see that well either. Disney is still a very pretty little girl and knows enough to "smile* for the camera. I'm glad she is not in pain.

Sweet Disney!! So nice to see her again, Lori :)

She has a very content look about her. I know its hard to see her get older, but she looks so happy and loved that you can just tell by looking at her eyes she's had a great life with you.

My sister is going through the same thing with her Lucky puppy. When I pray for Lucky, I always say one for Disney. It's just so sad to see two such active, happy puppies slipping away - one day at a time.

Disney is a very pretty pup! She looks very happy. I am glad that you updated us too. I keep her in my thoughts. You have given her a great life and you can tell by how she smiles at the camera!

Oh Disney, you are so precious, what a special little girl. I bet those occasional wags are such happy moments to witness. It's obvious you are taking wonderful care of her, making her as comfortable as possible and just loving her day by day. Thanks so much for the update.
