Got my report card and...

I Passed!!:D Woohoo!I'm so happy!And i passed the math and reading state test...so i'm a happy girl today!:D and i got all my credits!!
here are my grades...

Choir-100
World Geography-87
Intergrated Physics & Chemistry-73 :o
Algebra-82
German-90
English-82
I also has Math Link,but that grade is included with my algebra grade.
my class ranking is 663/1050
and my GPA is 3.5663 (i think thats good?)

so i'm heading off the 10th grade next year!

IPC must be a tough class because every kid I know has had a hard time with it. All of mine struggled to get through it.

Is 73% a bad mark down there? Up here 73 is a really good mark!

In most districts, the grades go like this:

100 - 90 = A
89 - 80 = B
79 - 70 = C

Anything below a 70 is failing. I have seen some districts where anything below a 60 is failing, though. :)

Wow, that's ALOT different than here! :eek:

Up here it is:

86-100 ~ A (excellent)
73-85 ~ B (Great)
67-72 ~ C+ (Good)
60-66 ~ C (Average)
50-59 ~ (Below Average)
0-49 ~ F or I (Failing or Incomplete)
No mark ~ I (Incomplete)

Here, pretty much anything at atleast 67% will make anyone really happy.

lol my dad said if we were still in Canada,i'd be in the top of my class,lmao!:p We lived in a smaller town with mabye 100-200 people in my grade,not 1050!:eek:
I also got to exempt most of my exams,,,i didnt have any in Choir,and Math Link.then i didnt have to take my Algebra one b/c i passed to state tests(i HATE those),then i exempted English and German.

ugh, friday the finals start. Well, I already FAILED my español speeking final, can't seem to SPEAK spanish around anyone but Niño.:rolleyes:
I hope my grades as 1/2 as good as yours b/c as of now, w/o the final my grades are
Algebra: D, taking it over in summer school, English:C, Spanish:C, Science:C, World Civ.:C, Ceramics:B and P.E.:A (basically if you show up in your uniform and participate you get an A.)

i had a tough time in that class,i didnt like it...it's too much information.I know alot of my friends had trouble in that class.Most people had under an 80.

Yes,1050:p All the 9th graders have to go to a seperate campus for the first year of highschool,then 10-12 graders go to the main campus..and thats over 3000 people.Our highschool is VERY competitive,and its one of the best highschools in the state of Texas.:p
