The original thread is here:

http://67.15.70.205/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=79505&highlight=Jordan

Thru a series of phone calls, I was informed that the Prosecuting Attorney is charging the woman with Reckless Driving and Felony Vehicular Manslaugter.

She was doing 60 mph in a 25 zone. She tried to beat the light, ran it when it was red, hit Jordan's car on his passenger side, and the force of the impact shoved his car into a utility pole.

It's believed that the intial impact did not kill Jordan. It was when contact was made with the pole. :(

I'll give updates as I get them. I'm not sure if it'll make the paper.

At least there will be some justice. I hated to think she'd get away with it. :(

I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing photos of Jordan with us. I hope we all remember what happened to Jordan when we're driving in a hurry. NOTHING is that important! Please, everyone slow down.

Oh, man. It doesn't sound like she'll get away with it, thank goodness. I hate hearing stories like this, it hits way too close to home. :(

At the very least, this woman's license needs to be permanently revolked and she needs some jail time to think about it. 60 in a 25 MPH zone....that is just crazy!

I'm deeply sorry for the loss of your friend. I've been there and I know how it hurts. Time has a way of keeping just the best of memories for you though. (hug)

I just hope they don't plea bargain with her to a lesser charge. I think that should be outlawed! And revoking a license a lot of the time doesn't do any good because they still drive. A stiff jail term is what she needs. That will give her plenty of time to think about it.

I am so sorry that I had missed the original thread about the loss of your dear friend Jordon. I just finished reading all of it.
I am glad that the woman is going to be charged. I hope she gets the book thrown at her.

I hope and pray that the great memories that you made together help ease the pain of loosing such a dear friend.

Rest in Peace Jordon.
