Okay, here's the whole story..

My dad and I were gone for the weekend and came back yesterday, on Memorial Day. A few hours after I got home from school today, my mom asked me to go with her "somewhere". So, while we were in the car, I was getting anxious and wouldn't stop bugging her about where we were going and she told me to be quiet and just wait until we got there. :p A few minutes later we arrive at this boarding kennel for dogs and cats, and I see my mom pull out a cat carrier from the back of the car. We walk through the door of the boarding kennel and a few minutes later one of the workers comes back with this little kitten. I couldn't believe it! My mom adopted her from the shelter on Saturday and she was staying at the boarding kennel because she was spayed.

Anyway, here are the pictures of my new kitty! She's super sweet. Whenever she sees me come into the bathroom (where she's staying for now) she walks over and rubs against my leg and wants to hop into my lap. :D She's such a lover.

She's still a little groggy from her spay.

We're thinking of naming her either Hazel, Mocha or Honey, but any and all suggestions are appreciated. :)

Aww! She's soo adorable!!

Congrats, Julie. :) I like Hazel for a name, but i really have to know her personality to suggest one.

Oh you lucky girl, she is gorgeous, I also like the name Hazel, but the other two Honey and Mocha are neat too, good luck choosing, see which name she responds to best and pick that one, she is one lil cutie, looking forward to seeing her grow up here on PT.

SOOOOO adorable!!! Looks like my cat but smaller.. :) :) :) It is so hard to pick a name - hubby and I spent a week and hours on the net looking at baby names trying to find one for Meka. But when Max was in the car on the way home from the shelter my hubby looked at me and said "How about Max?" I said ok - and that was that! hahahaha :) Debbie

She's soo sweet. I think she's going to quickly turn me into a 'cat person', hehe. ;)

I can't decide between Hazel or Mocha.. she looks more like a Mocha to me now that I think about it, but I love both names. This is too hard! :p

I took a few more pictures of her this morning.. it's going to be hard to keep her activity level down until she has her stitches removed. She loves to play!

She's so skinny.. the shelter estimated her to be around 17 weeks old and she only weighs 3 pounds.

Congratulations to you on your new furry little bundle of joy! If that isn't the sweetest little face! After seeing her pictures I have to go with Honey only because she definitely is one. Lucky little kitty found a furever home. My best wishes to both of you.....
