Lost Cat Travels 1,000 Miles in Two Days

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (May 23) - A young cat is safe and sound after somehow traveling from here to Downey, Calif., a journey of nearly 1,000 miles.

Toby, a black and white 10-month-old, was still wearing his collar and rabies tag when he showed up at an apartment building earlier this month.

His owners, Dieter and Marianne Coletti, got a call two days after he disappeared. So they got in their van and picked him up.

Marianne Coletti thinks a traveler put the cat in a car or on a train.

    Glad it had a happy ending! ;)

THAT WAS A GOOD SAMARATIN,THAT DID,THAT GOOD DEED,AS IT IS HARD,TO IMAGINE A YOUNG CAT,TRAVELLING,THAT FAR,IN TWO DAYS,UNLESS SHE HAD,SOME HELP.AT LEAST,SHE IS BACK,WHERE SHE BELONGS,WITH HER GUARDIANS,ONCE AGAIN.

let's see.

500 miles in one day.

250 miles in 12 hours

125 miles in six hours...

His average speed was 20 miles an hour.....

I don't believe that.....he would have been pulled over for driving so slow on the freeway!!

Downey, cah lee fuh nee ah???

Easy to figure this one out.....

Downey has TONS of warehouse/storage sites.......He hitched a ride in an open semi truck on it's way back to the land of the easily amused!!!
