This was a critical moment this morning!
A while ago, I got Lily one of these blue Catsan litterboxes with a frame, since Lily is always so wild with the litter that it's all over the floor after she used the box. It's a box like this:

Well, unfortunately, Lily has the habit to stand with her front legs on the edge of her box when she poops, and this morning it happened twice that the frame fell over and Lily got startled.
After the second mishappening, Lily went straight to Luna's box, to do her business there. Within seconds I decided to not let her, as we all know how touchy Luna is with her litter box business already, and I feared that Lily using her box now would cause severe damage to Luna's already strained relationship with her box.
So I brought Lily back to her own box, but she ran away. I then removed the frame and showed her the box, but poor Lily was already stressed, ran around hysterically and complained. I thought "Oh well, that's it! Now I'm gonna have two cats with litter box problems, just as if one cat wasn't enough!"
Then I had an idea. I took a plastic bowl, actually too small for a cat, filled it with litter and replaced the Catsan box. And 10 minutes later, I heard that familiar scratching sound... :) Now this bowl has to do as long as I don't find the perfect litter box for the Lily girl.
BTW, as soon as she has done her "big business", she was her old, happy self again! :)
