Here are the pictures from Nebo's birthday. We went to a local park (one I hadn't been to in years...forgot it existed :o ) to have a picnic. Nebo and Cisco really enjoyed the pond.

Nebo actually swam, I couldn't believe it. He always loves to get in the water but doesn't like to go in where he can't touch. I threw in some bread for the ducks and he wanted it instead so he swam out to get it! He did this a few times then decided he wasn't brave enough to swim anymore. :rolleyes:

Leaving the park.......see all that water? That is not a regular stream, that is normally a asphalt pathway. It was all flooded, there's flooding all over the state right now. I was there yesterday evening (trying to find the park) and it wasn't like that.

Nebo with his cake...he later tried to pick the entire thing up and ran to the carpet with it and almost got peanut butter all over.
:o It was rather funny to see him carry it though.

You had a fantastic birthday Nebo! I wish I could have been there to see you swim :) The area is so pretty there. It looks like pictures you took were taken from a magazine, with a very handsome husky model in them :)

I love the look in his eyes when you are holding the cake too, looks like he's trying to stare it down to the ground.

"Nebo is cute, but shhhhh don't say anything. But please send a piece of the birthday cake because that kind is my favorite. Please send me that greenie too, I think those are made for labbies named riley instead of huskies named nebos!" :p

Nebo wishes she could have come for his b-day party too! Yeah that's the same recipe, I made most of them into pupcakes then poured the rest into a pan for the cake.

I highly doubt that. ;x Nebo for one, is a Husky.. He's a VERY well behaved boy, I know for him having spent 1 week+ in my home, but Amy is very smart to not allow him off leash. Huskies are very independent and loooveee to run. Besides, he had every chance to swim in our pool but he doesn't really like to unless he can touch. Most parks don't allow dogs off-leash anyways. :p

Ohh, Nebo looks like he had a great birthday! I can't believe he actually went that far in the water. I wish Tori and Katie could have been there. I wonder if they would have followed him. Tori doesnt' like for people to force her into something but if she was playing and romping with Bebo she MIGHT have followed him..lol.
