Hi everyone. I wanted to start a post where we all can share our good news. It seems like what we hear more often is the bad news. I will start, my good news is, I am going to be an aunt at the end of summer. My sister is having a girl. And my mom's cats are getting over their fight with distemper. She found a kitten who was near death. Now he's completely healthy and happy.

Congratulations on becoming an aunt and bless your Mom for helping those sick kitties.

Well, as some of you know, my good new is that I have a new kitty that was rescued from my neighbours yard when her dog was after it. I vowed I was not going to keep this one, but I fell so much in love with this little tyke, that I just had to claim him as my own. He is 6 weeks old now and I've named him Willy.:D

Here's a picture of my sweetie pie.

Hi, Annie! What a great idea starting a Good News forum. That is so great that you're going to be an aunt. Well, some good news from my end. In the past 7 years, my Mom has had 2 major strokes, 2 surgeries to remove 3 brain tumors, diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and a fourth brain tumor was found about 2 years ago. Mom is very upbeat and positive believing that she's going to beat all this. I went up to the nursing home yesterday to celebrate her birthday, Mom will be 84 tomorrow!!!!!

Well, let's see.... I've had an offer of a church singing job, I'm starting a new temp gig tomorrow, I'm looking forward to starting rehearsals for Bat Boy. And of course, Don Juan and Zerlina continue to be happy and healthy! :D

I'm glad you started this thread because I have some good news that I'd like to share.:) As most of you know, I had to rehome Cirrus. Well now I've decided to adopt another cat. He's a flamepoint siamese kitten and he's still only 8 weeks old and too little right now. He should be ready in about 2-3 weeks. He's such a little love bug and I know he'll fit right in with my other 3 furkids. He's also my dream kitty. I'm so excited!:D I'll be starting a thread about him and posting pictures too. Here's a teaser picture.

My good news is that Missy will be having Ty;er any day now!! She is overdue by three days and will be induced Thursday if she does not start labor on her own.
So, Boomer will soon have his baby brother (to make it officially cat oriented news:p )

Glad to hear of everyone's good news! My good news is that we sold our house a couple weeks ago and the building of our new house is going very well, we're very excited. I'm really excited to see how our kitties will adjust to a multi-level house with lots of stairs to fly up and down! And, our other good news is that at the moment, all 3 kitties are healthy! (they have been taking turns fighting URI's - they seem to keep passing it around) Here's a "celebration" photo - I know lots of you have seen this before and love it, but again here's Millie celebrating her good health in her "jacuzzi" !

My great news I haven't shared with anyone yet! One of Eddies nurses told us he is ahead of where he should be at this point.. I am not surprised, I have said he would amaze everyone from the start!

My good news is the same as MommyOf3cats...I too sold our house and have made the first of the 2 moves really well. All kitties seem to be adjusting well...as too have mommy and daddy. The contractors broke ground on our new house today and we hope to be in the new house around October or November.

More good news is that Mark and I moved back in with my mom at her house and she is very happy to have company with her..even if it is only temporary. My mom took care of my grandmother who had cancer for almost 5 years and when she passed away 5 years ago I knew my mom was lonely so with Mark and I there she is very happy....of course she is very happy that the new house is only 5 miles from her which makes it nice for when we ask her to watch the cats when we go on trips.
