There was a miracle with Roxy. God really blessed us last night. Yesterday I posted this (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=79684).

Well, last night was hard for both Justin and me. We laid in bed with Roxy. She was purring and seemed to be happy laying there with us. Before we went to sleep I put her back in her bed, which is right next to me on the floor. She was still not eating or walking at all. I woke up this morning to find her bed empty! She had gotten up in the night and was laying on the floor by Justin's side of the bed. We couldn't believe it, not only did she walk, she walked all the way around the bed. I took her some food and she ate it! This morning the vet agreed we should give her a little more time. We'll try taking her to the specialist to see if he can shed some light on this. She was in pain yesterday, but doesn't seem to be in any pain today. Right now we will play it through day by day.

Please keep her in your prayers
Thank you!

I was just reading your other thread, and getting ready to post on there how sorry I am for your having to make this terrible decision, and then you directed me to THIS thread!:)

I think Roxy feels your strong love, and it has helped her pull through for awhile longer. I'll keep her, and you, in my prayers and thoughts. Please keep us updated on her!

We're pulling for you, Roxy!!! You go, girl!!!

Something like this happened to one of our cats in 1997; we were set to take him to the vet and that morning he decided to start eating again. We were fortunate enough to have him around for another couple of months.

Keep us posted!

Oh gosh Roxy, I guess you just are not ready to go yet are you darling.

As the Hymn goes; "One day at a time, sweet Jesus."

Just like one of my customers cats. She was near deaths door one day and then before you know it, lived close to a year after that.

Prayers and positive thoughts on the way for you pretty girl.

Tomorrow,when every one,is Gathered,at The Found Cat Hotel,all the pets,before they Party,are going,to have a mass prayer,for Roxy,and All,the Pets,that are too ill,to attend,that the Good Lord,is kind,to them,and lets them have as much quality time,with thier Guardians,as possible.And we hope,that Your Roxy,continues,to improve,and gets well soon.

I'm so glad that Roxy decided she was NOT ready to leave for the Bridge this morning!

apparently she's not quite ready to leave the two people who love her so, and has some other things left to accomplish on this earth!

sometimes, a situation like this has a purpose, though sometimes it's hard to know what that is.... in any case, I'm sure that each moment you have together now will be a doubly bright and precious gift!

Enjoy every MOMENT with each other! :)

Thanks everyone. She is still doing well today. I love just being able to have her lay in bed with me. She is seriously one of the sweetest cats I've ever known. She almost never stops purring.

I just wasn't sure I could handle any more heartache today. Please give Roxy a gentle kiss from me.

Roxy is such a beauty, and I'm saying some prayers that she'll astound you and Justin and keep going like the Energizer Bunny! Hope the specialist can figure out what's going on with her, and that you'll have her for many more months to come. ;) :)
