These are some of the many babies that came through my doors, and ended up at foster daddy Larry & his wife Katrina's home, and terrific nursery! These are from the mama (Gypsy) who birthed nine babies, and then took on an additional 4 when their mom was in for a spay, and started giving birth while knocked out. :( The other moms under his care wouldn't accept the newborns, but Gypsy did her best, along with Larry's supplementing all the kittens. ;) onto pics....:)

OMG!!! That is one Super Mom Kitty!! Good grief I'm exhausted just thinking about trying to keep up with that many ADORABLE kittens!
They are all so darn cute that it hurts! What a wonderful house to go play in! Kittens everywhere!!!:D :D :D

I love Larry's ingenuity. :) He takes the bottom drawer out of dressers he gets at yard sales etc. cuts escape holes on the back corners (so feral kitties don't feel cornered) and uses the underneath as a nursery for the moms. Bedding etc. is kept in the remaining drawers. Each family has a brightly painted room with lots of fun stuff for the babies to play with. He just built another room (five now, and still plenty of room in his basement)! I sure wish I could do something like that in my basement...*sigh* P.S the additional four babies is down to two VERY small kittens, but Gypsy's still doing so well with them...bless her sweet heart. :)

QSA I was also noticing Larry's nursery!:D What a great idea with the bottom drawer - he sounds like a gem!! I also noticed that there is a cord running to underneath the bedding - likely a heating pad to keep the newborns warm:D

Yes Deb, the cord is a heating pad cord...wrapped with clear plastic tubing to keep those little pin teeth from piercing the cords. I'd love to have nursery rooms here, but I have to deal with cages which I don't like much. :( So instead I send them to Larrys LOL! :D
