Looks like Cats4Keeps has re-opened its doors!

I guess since my state registration is still less than a year old, and I don't seem to be able to hide-out from the desperate phone calls, I am back in the "biz".:rolleyes: ;)

The rescue that I have mentioned several times, that has helped me out in the past, and vice versa is called Twisted Whiskers. Tina (founder) called me yesterday needing my help. She has been overloaded with the kittens this "season" and she is exhausted. To add insult to injury, she lost her special heartkitty (like my Tucker was to me) to the same darned FIP as I lost Tucker to. :( :( :( Needless to say, she is distraught, and really needs a "break" from the stresses of so many babies to care for. Sooooo, this is where Cats4Keeps comes back into play!:eek:

Yesterday she "unloaded" seven kittens with me. :eek: Talk about an assortment! They are just precious. Of course, there is a fluffy little dude that won my heart immediately, and unfortunately he is sick with the diarrhea as well. :rolleyes: Why do I always fall for the sickly ones???:confused: But anyway, I just got back from the vets with him, and he has meds and hopefully will pull through. He is still too young to combo test for the big nasty diseases, so I am keeping my mind positive that this is just a bout of Coccidia and nothing more coming out.

Jan- She just had a bunch of them running in her kitten room, and I literally just started grabbing them and stuffing them in my small carrier!:eek: I think maybe two of the smaller ones are mates, but most are not.

Oh Kim you are such an angel. To take in so many needy little ones. they are all so cute. There are times that I wish I had bought a house instead of a condo. I would be a foraster mom to. That one with the striped leg IS a GIRL.... all of them are girls except the tuxie and the buff one. She is the tiniest of them all, and what a SQUEAL baby too!:eek: :D
