I'm going to Boston (U2!) & a PT meeting!

I'm so excited!:D
Next week I will be in Boston from the 24th to the 27th.
I will be seeing U2 in concert two nights and I hope to have time for at least one Pet Talk meeting on the drive back to Vermont.
On Friday the 27th I hope to visit SunKissedGoldens and Cookiebaker and a whole lot of adorable golden puppies!

Post here if you want to talk about U2, or what to see and do in Boston or to set up a PT meeting.
Mayor Karen, I don't know what your work schedule is but I will have a little bit of free time on Wednesday(maybe going to the New England Aquarium) and on Friday before I head back north.
Also wait until tonight if anyone wants to PM me, my box is about ready to overflow.

Sounds like you have a great time lined up for your weekend in Boston! I'm so jealous that you get to see U2!! LOL I have wanted to see them forever, and everytime I find out about them performing here in the Bay Area, the tickets are already sold out!

This year, I found out in time, but just the price for nosebleed tickets was way out of my range (well over $150!!!...for nosebleed!)

MandaMoo, they filmed their City of Blinding Lights video in Vancouver on April 27th. You could have gone to see them for free and been in their video too!
They also filmed their concerts in Chicago last week for their Vertigo Tour DVD, Bono's 45th Birthday was on May 10th.:)

Wolflady, yes the tickets are very hard to get and seats are expensive. I was lucky to get my tickets in the pre-sale in January.

Hey I found that U2 show book on sale too...$20, not bad. I spluged and bought the U2 & I book...expensive...but wow it's an incredible book. Now I have a new hobby of collecting U2 vinyl...not sure why as I have everything on CD already...but it's fun going "record hunting" lol.

They will have videos of a few songs from their Chicago shows and an interview with the band taped at the most recent concert.:)

There are 5 venues, London, Dublin, Glasgow, Cardiff and Manchester. I would love to go to the Dublin one - that would be awesome :D - but Manchester is the nearest one for me.

Have fun in Boston! That's fantastic that you get to see U2! I love them, but, have never seen them live. And, two shows in one week?! Very cool. I did that last year for my birthday present to myself with my favorite band, it's so much fun! Have fun and be safe! Amy, I hope you could hear me ok because when I called back for the first song I couldn't even tell if you picked up the phone but I know I had it on for 10 minutes so I hope you could hear "City of Blinding Lights".
The concert was great, the weather here is awful though, pouring rain and cold winds when we left the concert we all got soaked.
