Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and Stuart booked a night away for us at a secluded cabin, complete with a hot tub and great views. He even got his dad to come over and critter sit for us for the whole 19 hours we were gone!
This is the view from the deck of the cabin:

What a wonderful idea for an Anniversary get away.:) The
view is great. A mountain cabin AND a hot tub. Sounds great. :)

This was taken in the Yukon Territory, south of Whitehorse.

No swimming in the Yukon River. It's deadly. It's extremely cold and never does really warm up. It's also got a powerful curtain. Unfortunately, there a few drownings every summer in it. There are some calm sections that are great for rafting and paddling with the right equipement.

oh...I see! you meant current instead of curtain? (new word to me) :) well, I still'd love to swim in the challenging yukon...no kidding! really beautiful.

LOL! Well, that's quite a typo! Yes, I meant current!

note to self: do not type when ready for bed!
