I got a new digital camera! a Olympus C-60 to be exact, anyways i got the Windows Movie Maker onto my computer.but when i try to 'import' the video,it says...

The file C:\Documents and Settings\Sammy\My Documents\My Pictures\Video\Video 005.mov is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.

I need help please!I dont know how to change the file type.

You have to open up WMM and then choose to import a video. Then, choose the video you want. Click and drag it down to the timeline. Then you have to choose the option of saving the video. Hope that helps.

Download the Bink and smacker video tools. They will convert your .mov into a .avi file. Windows Movie maker will let you import a .mov file.

Video conversion software download (http://www.radgametools.com/default.htm)

Let me know if you need help walking through how to do it.
