Not only has Zerlina been using Don Juan's litterbox in the bathroom, but yesterday I spotted Don Juan in her litterbox, with the cover that he doesn't like because he's a big boy. Strange.

I bought a small bag of Iams kibble for Zerlina, because that's what she was eating at Petsmart. She barely touched it, and was munching on the pot of kitty grass so much that I wondered if she was a vegetarian. :p I put out some Iams Fresh Bites that I got with a Petsmart coupon, which she devoured. Then she headed over to Don Juan's bowl and started chowing down on his Nutro Nature's Choice (and believe me, she doesn't need the "Weight Management" formula). :D

I've segregated them again today while I'm at work, as Don Juan is still hissing and fluffing his tail at Zerlina. But he seems fine as long as she doesn't get in his face.

She's an active little one! Wants to play all evening. :D

Sounds like Zerlina knows what she likes and doesn't like. She seems to be settling in rather nicely. And by the sounds of it there won't pass a lot of time before Don Juan and Zerlina are best of buddies.

And RB cats,Pouncer, and Mr Scrappy hated each, other, for about two weeks, but then were Dear Close Friends, until Pouncer passed on.I will never forget how sad Mr Scrappy, was ,when I brought home, that empty carrier.

please allow some for adjustment to the new kitty. my girl abby ruled the roost here for almost a year..then buddy came along. she absolutley hated him., and was very, very mean to him for almost two weeks straight.then one day she got over herself..and strolled over to buddy and touched her nose to his nose and now they are great friends....as you can tell:) http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid155/pac972397e70a95e744d82c3e8ae69f6c/f565bb61.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid150/p4d25238c64ca085e1d190910a2c66d38/f5e27a3e.jpg (he was just a baby here) http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid159/p3caea2820834cedbd5225ad5dd575450/f4fe423a.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid160/p9ec1016903a9fd29821dcb85c2b451cc/f4df7d2d.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid160/p1580071a9caff6441f53973b9380f65a/f4df7b0f.jpg see they can become best friends, it just takes some time.:)

I think so too. When I got home, Zerlina greeted me at the door with Don Juan! He apparently bumped the bathroom door open (he is a big strong boy) and let her out.

They're touching noses, and Don Juan looks only a little disgusted at Zerlina eating his food (as well as her own!). :D

This sounds like things are going extremely well. They "visit" eachother's potty boxes to mark their territories. It's good though that they will be able to share one though! Now... lest I have to resort to WHINING, where are the PICS????;)

Sorry, I don't have a digital camera, and I'm a bit short of cash at the moment. I'll get some 800 film with my next check and take some pics.
