Today, I noticed for the first time, birthdays posted at the bottom of the home page. Then checked the calendar and realized these are the first birthdays since the new PetTalk.
Another neat feature.

Noticed that too!! Great feature. I hate missing or being late with birthday greetings!

I can't figure out the calendar and how to add an entry. I can add it as a private event but I don't want it to be private! Can someone help me figure this out????

And I thought I was doing so good at figuring out the new Pet Talk.

THANKS!

It is a little confusing. You add your birthday to your profile then it appears in the calendar. Click on the "User CP" button on the top of this page then "Edit Profile."

The system does not accomodate pets. If everyone had only one pet I would add a pet birthdate field. However, some people have a lot of pets and would like to enter all of them. I need to learn more to decide how best to do this.

How about posting the birthdays as they come, for example my birthday was 15the Jan. I put that first on the user profile. Then when my b-day is gone, I'll put the next b-day up, that would be my husband, next month. Then when it's gone, I'll put Casper and Kitty's b-day. May sound a lot of work, but that's the way you can have it done :) I think/hope anyways ;) :D :D

Thanks for your input Paul. I guess we will just have to announce Pet Birthday's on the Bulletin Board!

Your doing a great job on the new site. I can't even remember what the old site looked like now!
