I wonder if any other members who own King Charles Spaniels have the same problem as mine , fearfull of other dogs, whatever the size of breed, but are very affectionate with people and children.

Firstly, Welcome to Pet Talk, Carol! :D

Sorry, but no I have never owned one of the lovely King Charles Spaniels. But a lady who lives in my street adopted an older one, Treacle, (its owner died) who was fearful of other dogs, at least at first. After a while he got used to the other dogs who were around and was fine. I have to give my Bob the initial credit because it was after being introduced and around him that Treacle began to be less afraid. I am not sure how, but Bob has worked the same magic with a couple of other dogs too. :)

I would love to hear more about your dog, is it a boy or girl? What is his/her name? How old is he/she?

Welcome to Pet Talk first of all! I hear that some breeds (ex. English springer spaniels) will bond the best with the same breed! Jesse (my furbaby) has now branched off to liking Brittany's, but, any springer that passes by, she wants to play with:D I hope that helps!
