Old and new *pics*

We have this olllld photo on our stairway. I duno when it was taken, but as you can see, it was a long time ago. It is a place where I live. So, I thought it would be neat to take a picture of that same place NOW and compare it. A lot has changed, huh?

Audrey, that is something. I wonder what it would have been like to live back then. I've got an old photo somewhere of some guys with horses in front of a barn. One of them was a farrier(horse shoer). I'll have to see if I can find it and scan it. I have no idea how old it is but it's so cool.

I love looking at old photos. I've ALWAYS wanted to go back in time and see how it was living back then;)

That is soooo interesting!! The history of it really gets your imagination going doesn't it??:D I am trying to imagine WHO is in the buggy, where they are going, what ancestors might still live nearby...all about the old church, etc!!

This is a great idea for a series of pictures.:D I still live in the
town where I was born, so I can see how things have changed
in my city. I do wish I had more pictures of the old days. I like
seeing the comparisons of old & new.

That's awesome!! It's got to be really cool for you to REALLY be able to see how much the town has changed. Gee, I wish I had an old picture of the town I live in today and see how much it changed!!!
