A new camera means new photos of Samantha!

I have been really busy lately with work and other things but I lurk on PT when I have the time.
I got a great new camera for my birthday last month and I just had to try it out on Samantha so here are some new photos for you Samantha lovers!:)

She has lost some weight with her diet food and is looking more sleek.

WOW!! What a great camera you have!!! This means lots of SAMANTHA now!:D She looks beautiful, adorable and still like a huggable and cuddy toy:)

Awwww...Samantha sweety, you are as cute as ever! Tubby used to like to sleep with his paws curled up like that. Couldn't find a decent picture (his black feet always blended in too well with his black body) but I did find this video that was cute. :D

That reminds me that my new camera can take short videos too, I just have to figure out how to post them.

Kim, Samantha has what I call "eye freckles" which she has had for a few years now.
I guess it can happen with some older cats, it is just a change in the pigment in her eyes but it does not affect her vision.
I had asked my vet about it when I first noticed it and that's what he told me.

Redhedd, Samantha's belly is still very fluffy and plush, just perfect for belly rubs, just not quite as squishy underneath all the fluff.;)

That video,of Tubby,is priceless.That must be wonderful,to see him,moving,and stretching.I am going,to have,to take movies,of my Older Cats,Princess,and Michael,so I will always,be able,to see them.

Gary, actually, it's really hard for me to watch videos of Tubby. Pictures are no problem, but videos are real tough. :( Especially, I have one or two I took when he was sick. These help me to realize he is in a much better place now, but still make me miss him terribly. :(

Your Sammy does look a lot like my Samantha.
I love black and white kitties especially ones with black noses.
I also love your cat's nickname because I sometimes call my cat Sammy Whammy or Samma Lama Ding Dong.;)
How old is your Sammy cat? My Samantha is going to be 17 years old next month.
Have you posted more photos of your cats, I would love to see and hear more about them.:)

Hi Samantha's mom- thank you!
Sammy Bo is 4 or so and so is Heidi Ann. They both came from the local HS where they spent together over 1 year. They came into our lives a year ago.
Sammy has a birth defect, his back left leg is shorter and he has herpes in his eyes. Heidi Ann has asthma, so we fuss and worry about them a lot. Sammy was probbaly abandoned and on his own for a while, which must have been terrifying since he had to defend himself and animlas must have sensed his weakness. He was in a very bad shape when the shelter found him, dirty, skinny, untrusting- sptiitng and hissing at everybody. The shelter did a great job at socializing him- he does not have a mean bone in his body, he is soooo gentle.
Heidi was abandoned at the shelter by her previous humans, she is a princess and she runs the house. She was the favorite of shelter PR director!
We adore them both more than words can say!
My husband and I fell in love with this site, wiht the kindness of people and everybody's knowledge and love for kitties!!!:)

Shais Mom, I forgot to say what kind of camera I got!
It's a Canon Powershot SD200.
It is so cool because it is only as big as a deck of cards.
The main reason I got it is to get concert photos of U2 when I see them in Boston in a couple of weeks.
It will also be easy to pack along when I go horseback riding, visit my local shelter and go to Pet Talk meetings.:D
