DOG PARK FUND RAISERS - [B]Help Please[/B]

Our town is trying to build a dog park. We are way behind schedule. Our goal is to raise $20,000. We only have $2,000. Does anybody have any ideas for fund raisers? Has anybody helped with the planning of a dog park in their area? What did you do to raise the funds?

Kiara was entered in a contest which helped raise money for a dog park in the next town over.

Maybe you could look into having a contest with a entrance fee?

Our local no kill shelter has a yearly bark in the park gathering to raise money. They advertise via flyers, radio and billboards. I believe the cost involved to advertised is minimal to the amount they bring in. Last year they said there were a couple hundred dogs involved. They had doggie games such as limbo, water games and other fun things. It was more like a doggie carnival!

Hope you come up with something. I personally love our dog park! :D
