Having never been 'owned' by a cat before, we are discovering the new world of cats... and finding it very entertaining! Like our other 'adopted' animals, as Pixel has bonded to us and become secure in our home, his 'seriousness' has vanished and his playful personality has blossomed....

this morning, Pixel brought us a 'gift' - I found it on the steps to the garage when I got up to feed Fizzy and Pixel this morning - I was VERY grateful he left the dead mouse on the steps and did NOT bring it to me in bed! It was with a small branch from the woodpile - I have a feeling he couldn't figure out how to get thru the dog door with the mouse AND the stick in his mouth!

Later on, he had to keep me 'company' in the bathroom..... what is it about pets that makes them seem to think you need company in the bathroom? Really, Pixel, I've been using the bathroom without 'help' for 40 some-odd years now......

And here Pixel is from a few weeks ago - when he was 'helping' me do my taxes....

I think this photo should be captioned.....

"11:45 April 15....... "

that's about how I feel about taxes, too, Pixel!!!

Seriously, I don't know how I would keep my sanity if I didn't have these wonderful furbabies in my life!

PS - I've never posted phhotos before on here, so if it doesn't work, someone please help and let me know?

You need to open the picture and then click properties and copy and paste that address into the IMG window that comes up.

Are these the pics you wanted people to see?

He's so adorable! :) There's just something extra special about orange kitties...I miss having one here. :( My Cecil who went to the RB 9 years ago was my last orange kitty and though I've rescued plenty of them since, I can't keep them all. Now if that purrfect one comes along...missing some body part or unadoptable in some way...then I'll have me another one. :) ;) He looks like such a good boy, and a good provider to keep you 'fed' with those mice. :D
