My Flyballin Elvis, you get too see these thanks to Spartys Mum, who waited around for about an hour after beginners training to watch us train.

:) Go Elvis and friends. Flyball looks like so much fun. It's nice that your dogs like it. I really like the photo of Elvis and Clover just running in the park, though. Just seeing dogs straight out run for fun is one of the greatest sight (IMHO).

she is 12 months old nearly so can start training.

I am confused lol you guys dont start training till 12 months? around here we start training at 8 weeks, obviously not strenous stuff but recalls and getting the ball from the floor, and very very low jumps(like we will place 1 inch slats on the ground) and around 5 months we start box work, so if the dog learns fast enugh they are ready to race by 12 months.

Thanks for the great pics. I love seeing all the border collies. I know I say it alot but I would just love to watch you guys compete. Flyball looks pretty cool. You must be so great with your furbabies. Elvis and Clover and beautiful as always.

Julie, his fastest time in competition (1 So far) has been 4.44 seconds and his best time at training has been 4.3. so not too bad.

Ginger's Mom, thankyou. The dogs love playing Flyball, they would not do it if they did not want to ;). They do love going for free runs at the park aswell though and get to do that every day, they are lucky dogs.

Shayna, club rules state that dogs under 12 months are not allowed to jump or do too much box work. We do have a puppy Flyball class that i instruct most weekends, the pups do motivator work, ball skills, socialising, and focus work. Both Flossie and Zeph in the photo's are only pups, 7 months and 11 months.

Thankyou Robin :o, i have put alot of time and energy into making C & E what they are today. They send lots of tail wags and kisses.

Karen, lol i am sure of one thing your dogs would be champion companions and that is all that matters :D.

chocolatepuppy, lol i am a bit addicted to BCs :p.

Jordan, yup i loved that pic aswell, but it shows how long my hair has gotton. I could see 3 tennis balls in that photo, and that still was not enough for my lil Elvis.

Thanks Trevor, i cannot wait until next easter, i was going to bring it up at training tonight but someone asked if anyone wanted to go to Adelaide in September, and that is after we come back from Canberra :rolleyes:. I think they like to keep us busy, but the dogs love it. I am wondering about the breed bans, and competiting in sports interstate if we will be affected :(.

Looks like all the dogs were having a great time! It amazes me how fast the dogs go in flyball! :cool:
