Crazy for Chamba: Dog of the Day Ripple Effect

His bio has been online ever since.

Today a kooky Cameroonian I've never met sent me this map of Cameroon showing the location of Tchamba--the ancestral homeland of his people. He credits Chamba's "Dog of the Day" bio for spurring his desire to learn more about his ancestors.

(If you read the Dog Memorial (http://www.petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75634) section, you may recall that Chamba died last month. The folks on Pet Talk have been very comforting, and much appreciated.)

I thought that you'd all be interested to know that what goes on here has a ripple effect that goes beyond just the crazy dog people, cat people, etc. people who regularly visit the Web site.

Oh yes I did read about Chambra in the Memorial section when you initially posted, and visited your website and read your loving tribute there. It looks like even now Chambra (and your stories and recollections of your travels with him) are still inspiring people. :)

mutt? looks like a purbred border collie to me lol (no such thing as "border collie" markings they are simply irish markings, common but certainly not the only kind, I have 1 with irish markings and one without, most think she is a mix because of it lol) sorry about chamba's death, he does remind me of Blaze :D and his expression reminds me of my girl Misty lol
