Here fishy, fishy...

It arrived in a big brown box, all four of the cats showed great interest in the mysterious box their mommy put on the floor...they had no idea, what was to come. Mommy carefully opened the box and all she could see was bits of styrofoam, Tinkerbelle and Kewpie stood up on their hind legs to see just what was all the fuss about Spike and Rocky watched from afar as usual.

Mommy reached into the box (she's so brave)....her hand disappeared! The white stuff had eaten her whole arm! Oh no..they got skittish and decided to move off a little, because emerging from the big scary box, was a big scary round thing with plastic all over it. She put the round thing on the floor and left it there. We didnt think this was a good thing, but decided to investigate a little closer....the plastic was not see through and made a crackly noise when she touched it. We was scared!

Oh boy then she ripped the baggy type thing, we thought whatever was in there is going to be very very angry..but we watched still with great curiosity as she pulled this huge FISH out of the bag. We had never before seen a fish so big! We thought it must be very very dangerous.

We observed it on the table for a few minutes then mommy came and picked it up and put it on the floor...it stopped moving long enough for us to come and try to investigate, but the next thing you know it had swallowed my sister's head. :eek:

I tried to stop her but it was too late it got her body!

The boys watch in horror and amazement (well not quite lol) as the big fish jumped up on the table with their sissy inside.

I knew cats could get fishbreath, but I didnt know fish could get catbreath.

And she slept happily ever after....(I cant get her out of it, she absolutely loves being inside the big fish and has claimed it as her own, nobody else allowed. lol

ARGgggg! I never got any further than buying the fabric to try to make one.. That fabric is PURRRfect that yours is made out of.. Those kitties are so beautiful and I REALLY enjoyed this thread, it is so funnieeeeee!

Thanks everyone and again to dolittleky (Melissa) her mom made the catFISH.

I think I enjoyed almost as much as my furkids did, maybe more.

Tinkerbelle loves that fish so much, as soon as any one of the others shows any interest in it at all, she's in there like a shot, she's even transferred a few of her favourite toys into it, I suspect for safe keeping. lol

Another giant fish strikes fear into the cat world! :eek: I can't stop laughing when I see those wonderful beds, and all the cats that get swallowed up by them. :D My gang keeps turning their fish bed into a flounder though. :rolleyes: Great pictures of your glorious kitties, and great captions too. :) Now you need three more. ;) :D

Those fishies get around dont they? This one is all the way in Canada now.

You're right the beds are a purrrfect idea...comical as well.

And you almost gave me heart failure, I read that wrong first time about getting three more, I (at first) thought you meant three more kitties... ;)

That fishbed is just amazing. This is the first time myself or my husband have even seen one. Of course when I first read this post and seen the pics it was soooo funny. Then when my hubby came home from work I wanted him to see too. he sat and read all the little story with the captions and this pic

just struck him sooooo funny. He said it is like Kewpie is saying "ok meowmie where did you put my sis...this is all your fault...I want my sissy back. Where did she go? And I think he was going around the house for about an hour chuckling and coming back to me and asking "can I see that pic again"

Actually both, Tinkerbelle is Chinchilla, and Kewpie is Shaded Silver. They are half sisters, I'm not really sure how that worked out though.

I have never seen a kitty with such an expressive face as Kewpie has, shock, surprise, happy, sad, playing, hunting, talking (they are both big talkers) she can be so comical with it.

Thanks for all the compliments on the fish beds. My mom makes them and I get the fun part of picking out all the fabirc for them. I really enjoy mixing and matching the fabircs to make the fish beds. Right now my mom is busy seeling as many as she can for the cat show May 21st. I rented a booth and hopefully we will sell them all there. I will have to post some pics of the ones she has made already. Everytime she makes a new one I like it better than the one she made before.
