I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a good and pretty cheap digital video camera. I'd love to take some video of the dogs and cats. :)

Most of the digital still shot cameras will do short clips of video, why not get one of those so you will have both? Do your homework on the internet and research to see which offers you what you want on one and how the prices run...

I agree. It's very rare that you'll have really long videos of your pets and then you'll have spent money on something that you really can't get full use out of unless it's for programs or something similar. My camera records up to 3 minutes and I've never needed more than that. I think Kay's Canon records up to 5 minutes. That would be your best route to take, I think. So, just upgrade to higher megapixels.

Thanks for the advice. My digital camera does take short video clips, but they're horrible. :(

Guess it's time to upgrade my camera. :)
