Converting mpegs to wmv?

I'm talking about the videos we see here, of course. Do you convert them to wmv format or do you record them that way? :)

It's been so long since I've done anything with movies, I don't remember how to work with them.

Mine came off the camera as a .mov file, and I comvert them to an .avi file, which is the file Microsoft Movie Maker uses, Then I used Microsoft Movie Maker to edit and save the file. EASY (yeah right... I don't want to tell you how many frustrated hours I spent learning those basic fact! :) ) but honestly, once you get the basics, it is easy!

I used a freeware program downloaded form the internet -- Bink and Smacker freeware (http://www.radgametools.com/default.htm)

I know somebody made a tutorial too about it.

I have, but they have to be very small to be attached, and most people can't view them. :(
