If you know where she is (what Hospital) - you might want to call and see
WHAT they (the Hospital) intends to do with her DOG!

They (may) be forced to call Animal Controll to house the Pooch if
someone else doesn't offer to house the Pup while Gina is in the Hospital.

Not too many Hospitals that I know of would even let the Pup in the door;
let alone let him stay there.

You poor thing. Do they know what is causing this? To my knowledge, migranes don't cause fevers, do they?

I hope they can figure out what's going on. :(

it won't leave me alone!! :( :(

*sigh* what do I know now - before I slept, one doctor thinks I DO have menigitis (especially because of fever) but the another think the possibility of tumor. (???) they're sending me to a specialist, neurologist (sp?) to see WHY. and threy keeping me on for dehydratation IV and pain medications. for the blood part, they think I have some "whatever.." (the hole?) inside...they didn't write CLEAR! *frustrated tear* that's why I need an interpreter!!! (keep Accord out of this, please). I kep having pains in top of my stomach. especially when vomitting.

phred, my dog is okay now, thanks. hospital is required to let my dog to be with me; he's a service dog. *nauseas* of course I was worried where he was after everyone kept on saiyng "..no, not allowed at all" and I wrote down to a nurse "BRING MY service dog back IN HERE NOW.." after pressing my panic button and cried HARD. "uh....service dog....like...but you're not blind?????" I told the nurse that I'll leave that to my lawyer and just... bring... him... IN now, please! I showed her crayola's license with law bill on the back annd that I could fine her for just saying no. I found he has been in the in a security offcice and have called that numbers on his special collar and was waiting for their response! right now he's looking at me, beside to my ugh bed, I've been squeezing his loop of leash with my hand all night. I can't hear while sleeping if they're gonna take him away again!  :(

noahs, I don't think so...because those days I've had migranes, never had fever except one hour on monday afternoon I had a 99.6. but last night, right before going hospital, had no fever. when nurse did a pulse checking, I all of sudden became hot. now I feel more cooler, odd?

wolfchan, thank you. my friend from salinas drove up here is staying over at my studio, she already had the key. I'm so lucky she's off work until monday. I feel MUCH better knowing someone "lives" there. but I'll ring you if she has to leave..

-- for some reason I am starting to feel ashamed for sharing this, I didn't want to seem be the one that needs the most attention. I just hate to be SO alone in here.... people here can be so mean. :( :(

I'm so sorry to hear this...Is there anything we at Pet Talk can do to help you?
I hope you are feeling better soon...I'm glad you have your dog with you, that must be some comfort. Is there someone who will take him out for you and feed him there at the hospital?

Gina Please have the hospital call your lawyer and get him to demand an interperter for you! You shouldn't have to deal with this stuff the way it's being done. I garentee one visit from your lawyer you will get what ever you need. hospitals are very scared of lawyers and lawsuits. Glad you stood you for your self and your service dog. Praying for you and sending hugs.

Gina, (((hugs))) I hope you feel better soon....and I hope the doctors find out what is causing everything. You need to have an interpreter....it's your right and the hospital has to provide you with one. It may take them a little bit of time to get one but they HAVE to give you one.....I know...I work in a hospital. Prayers and positive thoughts on the way!!!!

I sure hope that the doctors can figure out what's going on with your health, and also that you get what is rightfully yours...an interpreter. I'm sure if you spoke a foreign language, you'd have one by now. :( Hang in there, and hope you feel better fast. ;)

Gina,

Honey don't be ashamed of sharing with us. I know for a fact that you've been there for us when we've needed someone, and now its your turn. I wish I could see what they wrote so I could interpertate it for you. I use to work for a doctor's office and a sheriff's department so I'm fluent in chicken scratch. If you can get someone to e-mail it to me I will gladly type it up for you hun.
You're in my prayer and thoughts.

I just woke up alone and I forgot crayola was with me, I looked under the bed quick, he's still there! :) :) oh gosh, I slept for SO long.... over 13 hours.

I'm still in hospital and almost had tube going in me if I refused to eat.. it makes me wanna puke! apple juice almost did. my salinas friend stopped by to take my little PATIENT guy out and she told me everything she did with my pets and made me smile :) she brushed all of my cats and gave them treats. told me one of my cat, Zephyra, mew constantly allllll night for me. (she's hearing) - she took a short video (from my camera) of her meowings.. OH my dear,..........! I saw it and she looked at the camera, MEW to death!!! (probably 2 meows in a second and continued for up to 10 seconds then rest... and again! again...) :( :( it made me cry...I wanna squeeeeze her! I sure HOPE she's okay. friend said she played fine, ate her breakfast this morning, pooped, etc...sigh. I don't know.. I guess I'm so depressed not being home *tears falling*

spinal tap is so YUCKY, my back hurts really bad and I get brusied easily. just had my 4th water IV bag. going have EGE/EEG (not sure how spelled?) in an hour or two. I've not seen a doctor all day yet. for now, I'm gonna lurk through this site...

I'm still in those gosh days. yesterday I was very unresponsive. the medicine I took by a doctor, I reacted to a very serve allergic attack, hives. all I remember I started to gag, they shot me with bendryal (??) and next thing I woke up around midnight with tube going into my throat. (!?!) I couldn't stop crying and WANT to get out of here in te pains. I begged them to get me veg bullions.

they haen't got me an interpreter yet, my lawyer has been out for the whole week. they still haven't found WHY. the doctors think they are GODS with degrees. no, my family never knew I'm here, I can't let them know - they'll destroy me more.

my friend has to go tonight, she was on call for her work.. either, I'll call Wolfchan or I'll sign against medical form and GO home...and FIND neuorgolist myself. I can't stand this anymore! *crying*

oh Gina!!! I do not know you very well and this thread - I keep reading it and thinking about it even when I lay down to sleep and have said many prayers for you - I think I figure out that you cannot hear - and that is why "interpreter?"?? I hate that they do not have one for you at the hospital and can only imagine how *I* would feel to be so sick and alone. I wish I could give you a real ((((HUG)))) and do things to help you!!

I am sorry this is going on and hope they find the problem and get you feeling better. I also do not understand about not letting your family know - but it is probably complicated so I will do the best I can and just say prayers and give you another

I may have missed this in a earlier post but what is causing all of this?

So sorry, Gina! I was wondering if you're on any medication that forbids you to eat certain foods. If you're not, I get motion sickness/nausea all the time. I didn't want to take those sleeping pills or anything, so I went ahead and did some herbal medicine research. There are a few food items you can take to ease your nausea, and, believe me, it works! It works SOOO much better than Pepto or some other liquid stomach upset reliever.
The primary herbs are ginger, lemon, and chiretta. I buy the candied, crystallized ginger and chew on that. After a handful, my nausea subsides. It works quickly and effectively. I would ask your physician if any of these foods are dangerous when combined with your medications, first, however.

migraine will eat me..
migraine will eat me...

cagney -- this, second thread really said the same as first. when I have bad, worst migraine, I start aura and/or throw up constantly (was four day but now a week). when I throw up, I couldn't stand up or see anything because of pain inside upper stomach (digestation part maybe). plus the worst patient with dehydration so..I was thrown into hospital twice and NO doctor have found out yet.. three thinks I had mengitis, one though I have a slightbrain tumor. two saw I have a mild migraine (blood vessel somehow).. but why...? no information yet.

& giselle, thanks for "grub" information. I'm against medicine too because I'm very, very sensitive to medicatios. (I'm allergic to more than 10). but what I'm taking is more thant just a "counter" medication. I take aym...something. and I am required to see a specialist, neurologist asap.

so while I threw up so often, I lost from #130 to #113, then it makes me wanting puke to eat. I hate to eat when I'm THIS sick. now nausea is an additional issue. :( :( :( but I'll want to research the nature ways when I GET HOME!!! :(

Gina,

This is much better news. You've been on my mind so much...I just wish there was something I could do. I know that even with my friends, family and tons of PT love, I was so scared a lot of the time when I didn't know what was wrong. I can't imagine you there, without means to understand what they are doing and why. :(

I'm so glad you're in a better place...you deserve it, hon!

Rest, get better and go home soon. OK??

Hugs,
Kelly :)
