Itty bitty rescued Peanut. She needs a good bathing and brushing but after her ordeal last year of the biggest girl attacking her and dislocating her eye, and jaw, I'm just thankful she's alive. ;) She's all of four and a half lbs, compared to the big girl Greta who's about 120 lbs! Not an even match, but Peanut did instigate it. :rolleyes:

She has no sight in the eye that was popped out, but it doesn't seem to bother her as much as it bothers me.

Spencer the rascal boy! Note the curtain rod across the cabinet handles...yup he likes to forage under the sink for sponges, and other neat treasures to tear open, and play with. :rolleyes: Smart boy knows when the rods not there too, and those doors open up as soon a I leave the room. Nawty boy! :D But too handsome to ever be angry with. :)

Greta has rottie, and who knows what else in her, but she's a quite plump girl though she doesn't eat all that much. She's getting up there in years, lost track, but she's close to ten now. She has those days where she has a hard time getting her rather rotund body off the floor lol! Poor girl. Peanut is around twelve or so, maybe closer to 14? And the 'baby' Spencer will be two in May. :D My little scruffa-monkey Peanut just hates being brushed or bathed, and after all she went through after that attack :rolleyes: I don't care if she looks a bit ratty just so long as she's happy. ;) She loves to burrow under covers, so her fur gets all nappy fast anyway. :D

We've always had dogs...and usually three at a time lol! Peanut came already named, and was in awful shape from living with a drunk. :( She stunk like urine (not dog :rolleyes: ) and had no fur on her head, or lower body. Four shampoos later the smell diminished enough to breath around her. She's been with us for 7? years already, and was at least 5 when I took her on as a foster lol! As you can see, she's still being fostered. :D My cute lilttle ragamuffin!

With the exception of Peanut (who's smaller than most of the cats here) Greta and Spencer were brought up since pups with kitties. They adore new babies. Greta is getting a bit cranky in her older years, and gets bossy sometimes, but Spencer is such a good and respectful boy to them. ;) :) His favorite chore is 'diaper duty' when I have bottle babies...yick, and lol! :rolleyes: :D Better him than me. Greta used to take on that duty, but hasn't shown as much interest as Spencer. :o :D

I refrained from taking any pictures after her awful ordeal. :( She was crusted with blood, and her eye was stitched into the socket...not a pretty sight. But my sweet little girl's much better now, but she detests being bathed, or brushed. :rolleyes: I have to fight with her now and then to do so, and she ends up with scraggly fur from tunneling under her blankets anyway. :o :D I've never seen any other dog wash their face like a cat. She licks one leg, and rubs it over her face just like a kitty. :D She didn't learn that here lol...though it's not far fetched. ;) Thank you everybody for all the nice compliments! We love the pack. :)
