While I was answering what kinda car I have I thought of robbing the thread. I decided to make a new one. My Buick is called Kayleigh because that is what some stupid teenager decided to key in the hood. As mad as I was, it stuck and now I don't really want to paint over it (not that I have the money for a paint job).

:o ALL of my cars have been named Bessie Mae. All my dad's cars were Bessie Mae - this goes back to at least the 1940's. I do call my Escort - Ethel sometimes but her real name is Bessie Mae.

PS I thought I would add that Bessie always runs better if she has had a fresh bath.;)

Yup, always!

My green CRV is named Turtle.

My sister's last car was named Silver, and everyone thought it was just its color, but nope! It was named Silver so she could say "Hi, ho, Silver, away!"

My truck is named Sam, short for Samantha because she's a tomboy.

My car in high school was a mercury grand marquis, it was a big brown boat given to me by my grandmother. So I named it the grandma-mobile. I even broke off a few letter on the logo so it would spell out "grand ma"

My current Ford F-150 (White 4x4, extended cab) is named "the bumble" after abomidable snowman in Rudolph.

My previous Ford F150 was fire engine red, and it's name was "Clifford the Big Red Truck". I even had a stuffed Clifford on the dash until my daughter (Who was about 3-4 months old at the time) stole it.

I won't even get into the "Yellow Peril" and christine

My first truck was a 1969 Chevy pick-up, painted with gray marine bottom boat paint "Guaranteed not to grow algae or barnacles!" My dad got a good deal on the paint and we painted it in an old barn... That was "The Gray Ghost"

Next was Hank... 1/2 ton Old Chevy state truck. A Rust Bucket but ran like like a top!

Then there was my S10 pick-up... I didn't give it a name, and it gave me nothing but TROUBLE.

My Toyota corolla was named Nellie Bean... first CAR I ever owned, we sold her last week. I cried when she left.

We now have a Nissan pick-up. His name is Nigel. :D

Vinny, Hank, and Nigel have got to be my favorite car names I've heard so far. This is too cute hearing the names for our not-so-animate family members.

Never named my cars, when it was just me, Murph and Maddie. But now that I have the Collies, I find myself referring to my car as "The HairMobile".

Sorry I left out Bessie Mae. Its a good name, we've had several, I was just amused at the names I'd never heard used on a car before. Hooray for Bessie Mae also.

Yes! I've always named my cars! :)

My first one was a 1985 red Nissan 300zx that I named "Z".

My last car was a 1999 black Honda Civic EX that I named Odie.

I have a new car (2003 black Honda Civic EX) that I still need a name for. She's a girl and she needs a fun, flirty name. Any ideas??

My car has gotten a lot of names over the years...*its a 93' Ford Festiva, and its been through a lot more than it should have...*

When I got it, the guy who had it before me named it the Lexstiva, after someone put a Lexus logo on the hood as a practical joke lol. Not only did he keep the hood logo, he put a few more on the back hatch and on the sides. When I upgraded it slightly, I renamed it the Fastiva because of its reputation for winning parking lot races ;). The upgrades also earned it the name Loudstiva because it sounds a lot bigger than it really is. When I crunched the poor thing on the mini van, it was the Wreckstiva until it was repaired and redubbed the Frankenstiva (the hood and the passenger front fender are a different color than the rest of the car)

The poor thing will probibly be renamed a few more times, and of course Ive ommitted some of the not so nice things I've called the car ;) *Funny yes, appropriate...not so much*

:p this is why I shouldnt answer these car threads :p :D
