Logan kept begging for pond-pics, so I just couldn't refuse any longer :D !
Our pond is out of its winter-stage now. The plants begin to grow; and the fish are busy swimming again!!

Here are the latest pics!

Oh, I just love your pond, would love to have one in my backyard. Actually I have two ponds, but they are out at our property and they aren't like that one and they will never look like that either.

Okey, especially for you I will try to get some good pics of the fish in our pond! When they see the sun shining on the water, all the goldfish come to the surface. Maybe for a suntan  :p .

I always fear that a heron will spot them when they do that  !

Lut, your pond, yard, flowers - the entire setting is so peaceful and refreshing........even over the internet.

I would hang on to that personal gardener of yours!!

In Pasadena, California, there is a huge park called the Arboretum. It is filled with exotic flowers and trees from all over the world. It also has a huge peacock population. And they are very noisy.

They are also very hungry...........and soon scouted out all of the ponds in the area and were eating people's fish. The neighbors to the park had to start putting netting over their ponds to save their fish.

Well, here are the pics of some fish in our pond! Most of the fish are goldfish, as they love to take a "sunbath"!!

those black fish are not shadows, but real fish: goldfish stay black until their second year. This is their protection against being eaten.... !

Neat...I want one too! My SO has three barrel ponds in a cascade that are nice, but we want to do a REAL pond someday.

Beautiful pond! I'm trying to convine my parents that we should have a pond in our backyard. They said maybe if we tear out the deck and get a patio...:)

The fish are pretty.
