This is a cross post from another site, which I also posted in General.

I'm Gail, Glenn's wife & here is what we are sending out to area shelters. We would be so grateful if you would pass it along anywhere you can....we actually had one trucker call us with some very very vague info about spotting a dog being offered for sale at a truck stop on an interstate between Tx & Calif....we are not sure if he was legit or what but we are interested in hearing from anyone with any info. Glenn also was on local news Sat night & there is a video on website of WOAI www.woai.com/mediacenter/ (scroll down to missing drug dog.)

"Just in case anyone comes in contact with our dog:
Our whitish-yellow male neutered 4yr old 85 lb lab was in our maroon 2000 Ford Excursion when it was stolen from a parking lot in NE San Antonio on 4/13/05. Car was locked but running (had a diesel engine specifically for that reason) to keep air on for our dog. We only care about finding our dog.Chaz is a working dog, used in schools as drug-sniffing dog, & is also a part of our family. We are desperate for his return. We have posted a $5000 reward for his safe return in the San Antonio newspaper & flyers & would be thrilled to pay it. Please put the word out. We can be contacted at 830-708-1673 or email to me, G Groves, [email protected]. Thanks for your help!"

Oh how sad:( I can't imagine how terribly upset they are.
I do hope they can find the thieves and their pup soon.
