Here are some pics I took of Shadow and Whisper. They both seem much more content now that they are separated. No more attacks at 4 AM except Shadow attacking my feet and trying to find something noisy at 5 AM to wake me up with--she's hungry. LOL :D

They are both so beautiful.

How are they separated? (I am sure I missed the story) :o

I must have missed the story too. I hope things quiet down at your house...uncooperative kitties are NOT FUN! ;)

They are both gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

Great pictures.....I am partial to the name Shadow now that I have a little black "Shadow" of my own, but Whisper is a beautiful name, also, and both are just gorgeous cats!:)

Whisper kept attacking Shadow and she would urinate in her beds to show her frustruation. We took her to the vet to make sure it wasn't a UTI, diabetes, or other ailment and learned it was just behavioral. We are currently keeping her in our bedroom until we move (at the end of July), and hopefully we will be able to get a larger place in North Carolina. I think it's a "too many kitties, in such a small place." We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home but maybe that is just not large enough space for Whisper. He never really had this dominance problem until we moved here...or at least it has gotten much worse since our move to AL.

We had tried the spray bottle when he attacked her, chasing him out of the rooom, giving them each attention separately...didn't work and his attacks became worse. Shadow is doing wonderfully and returning back to how she was when we first got her. Callie is with her either at night or during the day and she is out of the room when we're at home. Our bedroom is fairly large (about the size of the living room). The other cats are usually only in the living room, kitchen area anyway so it's not a drastic size difference for her.

Whisper looks especially GORGEOUS in those photos. Poor Shadow was beaten up by her gorgeous brother.

Samanth was bad about attacking Amy and I gave her time out in another room for it. That only took about 2 to 3 days and she stopped doing it. She has started again so she is getting her time out again and she seems to have slowed way down on it.. She HATES being shut in a room by herself!

I didnt realize,how lucky,I am,to have Cats,that tolerate New Cats,and get along ,so well.And I am praying,that Whisper,and Shadow,can learn,to get along,or at least,to be able,to make some sort,of peace!

Oh I pray that when you move into your new home that Whisper will get along better with Shadow.
They are both such beautiful cats.
