I need help with decreasing the size of a photo.

I am trying to get pictures on to a website and it says that the photo's are over 1.2 megabites and that they are too big. So it wont let me post them. Can somebody tell me how to decrease the size. I dont know if you can do it on a digital camera, but I have a Cannon Powershot A75. Thanks.

I don't know if you can do it with your camera. I always resize my pics with Jasc Paintshoppro. If you can send it via e-mail to me,I will resize it for you!

You need to use Paint, or Photoshop or Paintshop once it's on your computer. Do you have any of those programs?

You could always dl a free program called Irfanview

It allows you to change the image size too

Okay great! Thanks you guys, Maya & Inka's mommy I sent you an email. I'm going to try and download that program off the internet. I tried to use my paint shop, I'm not positive it's the right one though, I couldnt figure it out. Thanks again everyone.:D

No downloading here: www.myimager.com. This is a great site! You just get to the size you want then save it on your computer. It's a little bit time consuming but if you don't have that many pics to do, it's nice.
