Oh Carla Birdie is just precious! Ican't believe he is the same pitiful cat that Jan brought home. He really tore my heart out in the beginning and I know none of us were sure he was going to make it. Birdie is so lucky to have had Jan and now you in his life. He sure was double blessed after everything he went through and he deserves every bit of it!

Love the bed full of kitties!:D

All the photos are great, but this one is spectacular!! How wonderful that Birdie ended up in the Taj Mahal for cats - one very lucky kitty - as are all of yours.

AWW!!! Thanks Carla for posting Birdie pics again. I miss the little survivor boy. He really has fallen into paradise hasn't he...surrounded by all those kitties that love him. :) :) And lanky Marshall I can't believe will soon be 1 year old! My time flys. Great pictures....can we have some more please? :D I can see Birdie smiling while Rosco's washing him! Same smile as Georgie! :)

I agree, Birdie came a long way from his sad beginning with Jan. With her, he had that chance so he was sent to HER because if anyone could pull him through, it was Jan... NOW, look at him thriving and happy. What a JOY to see him like this after all he went through.

He is such a lucky boy that he now belongs to you and Mike! I just look at him now and am AMAZED!!

Birdie looks terrific after that hard start he had. Is his tongue all healed up? Are there any after-effects of his ordeal? His story is one of those "oh-so-special" ones.

He's a miracle kitty that's for sure! I still have those images of such a weak blood drained flea infested kitten too weak to stand, and unable to eat, in my head. Thank God they're just bad memories with a happy ending now. :) ;) Lucky Birdie. ;)

Carla,and Mike Your Birdie,sitting,with your Big Cats,is paralell,to Scrappy 2,the former Stary,making her way,with the Found Cats!Although Scrappy 2,never,had,to overcome,what Birdie,had to.

I came back for another peek. I still have that horriably sad picture of him wrapped in that towel and his pitiful pale nose and it breaks my heart to see the shape he was in and lift my heart to heaven to see how he looks now. WONDER BOY!! Gee Carla, you do have some miracle babies at your house, don't you!!? I am so glad you adopted him so we can see how he is doing.

...and since I will be going back to work soon, may I request some Winston and Benson pictures? I was telling Val that story the other day and she was blown away at how PT'ers came through for a sick cat in another state.
