Nebo will be attending Strut your Mutt again this year! :) The event is on MAY 14th.

Last year with some wonderful donations (mostly from PTers!) we were able to raise $400! Our goal for this year is to reach $500!

All of the donations benefit No More Homeless Pets in Utah (http://www.utahpets.org), which is a program of the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (http://www.bestfriends.org). The money doesn't just go to help dogs!

Each $20 can spay or neuter one cat; each $50 can spay or neuter one dog; and each $100 can rescue a homeless dog or cat and keep them safe until they are adopted into a permanent, loving home.

The same as last year, I'm offering a free 9x12 colored pencil or pencil portrait for a $100 donation. The portrait is of one pet, if you'd like more than one pet it's $50 for each extra pet. The money you donate goes to help homeless pets, I don't keep any of it. Just don't be too concerned with time though please, it may be a while before I would be able to start on it.

*EDIT* I'll do a cartoon drawing (colored on the computer and emailed) for a $50 donation. I'll also be happy to make signatures/avatars for anyone who donates. I can't make animations or blinkies though. If you've already donated just send me a pm or email if you want any of these things.

You can donate quick and easy ONLINE with a credit card (it's secure) just visit Nebo's Page (www.active.com/donate/strutyourmutt2005/nebospage) Put Amy Quarnberg as the participant name if it asks for one. If you would like to donate by cash, check, or money order (make them out to No More Homeless Pets in Utah) you can mail me the donations. My address is the same as on the Christmas Card list, if you don't have that pm me and I'll give it to you. *If you donate online you can choose to remain anonymous* Every donation counts and is appreciated, no matter how much! :)

The event is on MAY 14th so any donations have to be made before that day! I promise to take LOTS and LOTS of photos for all of you guys! :D

Amy, what a wonderful idea getting PT'ers involved in this cause. It's a worthy cause and what better dog to lead it up than one of Pet Talks favorite sons! Making a donation in it's self is great but having you offer a 9X12 pencil portrait is super! I hope you get lots of takers. I PM'd you for your address!

Come on guys.... It's may 3rd... only 7 days until the walk! Help Amy and Nebo raise the money for this walk. It's one way to help other dogs and to support one of our own doing it! Every little bit helps! :D

The girls and I finally got our donation in Amy!

The event is tommorow! Can anyone else donate and help Amy and Nebo with this great cause? Check out the website. Its a great event for a wonderful organization.

Amy, I wish me, Alden, Katie and Tori could be there to participate with you tomorrow but since we can't we will be thinking of you and be there in spirit. Have fun and don't forget to take lots and lots of pics!!!

Hugs....Robin :)

Amy, the blue neckerchief matches Nebo's eyes so perfectly! I think he will be the most handsome boy "Strutting" around! :D
I loved this picture!

Is it possible to get donations after the walk? I know some of them have an actual cut off date after the walk. Is there still time for other Pet Talk people to donate?

Wow, thanks everyone!! I haven't been on the internet for a few days so I didn't know what the total was until I got there in the morning. They had it as $370 online then I had another $30 in offline donations I gave them, so $400 total. Then I came home and saw what the total is now...only $25 away from the $500 goal. :D I sent them an email and asked if I could still donate another $25 to reach the $500 level...haven't heard back yet. Either way, thanks again for all of your donations to help homeless pets!! Nebo and I had a great time, pics coming soon. :)

$475.00 online giving and $30.00 offline giving = $505.00! Congratulations Amy on making your goal! I think I got that right.
