The last time I posted we were having problems with Shadow and trying to figure out the best way to decrease her stress to stop her from peeing on her beds. She was being chased and tormented by Whisper on a daily basis so she would show her aggravations in her own little way. WELLLLLLLLLLL.....
Everything has worked out quite wonderfully!!! She has been using her litter box and even COVERING up after herself which she never did. She's been put on her diet and looks to be losing a little weight (crossing fingers). She seems to enjoy being in the bedroom and often shares her space with her sister, Callie so that she is not always by herself. She's got me to herself at night when I stay in the bedroom and read...and constantly purrs when we're trying to sleep.
She did almost make me cry the other day, though. :) When I first got them, I had to give both Whisper and Shadow to my parents because my roommate was allergic. My parents kept them in their bedroom so they could keep them separated form their cats. Well, Shadow used to attack things that moved under the covers at night and was always pouncing on my dad. :p He thought it was the cutest thing and absolutely adored her. She, for some reason, quit doing it shortly after he died and no matter how much coaxing I gave her she would never "attack the mouse." SHE FINALLY STARTED DOING IT AGAIN!!! I was so happy it brought tears to my eyes and reminded me of all the stories my dad told me about her.
Things are going fantastic and I could not be happier with her turn around. Here are some pictures that I took. Hope you enjoy!!

This is the igloo bed she peed on that got her taken to the vets. It took me forever to find that type of bed and she absolutely adored it. I had to throw it out because I couldn't get the smell to go away.
