I know I haven't posted a lot about this little darling yet, so I thought I would do some babbling about her (with pics coming tonight when I get in from work).
She has to be one of the sweetest kitties I've ever met. Whenever I'm in the room with her, she's an absolute velcro kitty! If she even starts to think I'm about to pet her, she'll stretch up under my hand to get that petting sooner. And when she's in my lap, she makes happy feet against my leg, with her little purr motor going a mile a minute.
She sleeps a lot and is very low key, which worries me a little. Though part of it might be that she doesn't really know how to play. She completely ignores most of the toys I've got in the room for her, and when I dangle something in front of her, she'll give it a couple of half-hearted swats and then look at me like she's thinking, "Is that how it goes?" Even the mah-velous Mini Mice don't get her to playing, unlike with Mowg who's in heaven when he's got one.
And after her spay, I couldn't believe how skinny she is! I'm kind of thinking of getting some Kitten Chow to fatten her up a little with because she's so very tiny.
But she's still definitely a sweetheart. When I'd picked her up from her spay, the vet warned me that she might be grumpy and would swat. But she's been just the same as she was before the spay! If not for the shaved tummy and stitched up incision, you'd never know she'd been through any kind of surgery. She's not hissed or growled or squealed or screamed once!
And once she's healed up a bit more, I'll be putting Mowg's Softpaws on her and letting her out in the evenings so they can all start getting used to each other.
