The answer is yes. One of my favorites is herding cats. Dog people, if you haven't voted yet, go to "Today's poll" or find the poll on CotD or PofD.

You betcha we watch 'em! :D

Dad even calls us over iffin we're sleepin and he thinks we might miss it. Sometimes there's a *problem* though ~ SmokeMutt an Me tend to crowd in front of the idiot box an that blocks  Dad's view .

We can tell ya all about the critters in the ads, but we'd be hard pressed to member who the sponsors are :o.

Definitely! I can tell you what breed of dog or cat was in the ad before I can tell you the product that was being advertised! My dog licks the ads if they are on a brochure or something and will plant herself in front of the TV and won't budge 'til the ad's over!

Freckles, Herding Cats is a scream! I laughed so hard the first time I saw it. The PetsMart commercials are really funny too. There is also one where a man is sitting munching on something (don't remember the product) that he thinks is a snack. When he finds out it is a cat treat all he can say is "can I have some water?" :D The look on his face is terrific!

yup, they sure get my attention. and i love reading the classifieds. (but i hate it when the sad truth about the matter slips into my mind. you know...stuff like accidential breedings.)

some people think having animals perform on tv is exploiting them and cruel. how do you feel?
to me it is boarderline. i can't say i'm neutral, though i could go both ways. i say it all depends on how the trainers and keepers treat the animals and if the animal is a willing subject.
what boils my blood is that most dogs you see in dog food comercials are starved for a few days before the filming.

Im not sure if you all watch MTV, but in the music video "Ms Jackson" By Outkast has dogs and cats in it, it is my fav music video. BUt its the one i always remember because of the animals. Yes i do remember commercials better if they have animals in it! ;)

yup yup, animal ads are fun mostly and we do pay attention to those more than ads without animals... and hey, aren't those blooper videos with animals fun too (just as long as the animal isn't hurt), oh boy :)

Yep!! We love them!! My husband and I always get a kick out of them. Daisy sniffs the screen to see if they're real and Copper just tilts his head!
