Hi everyone.:D I went to a cat show today with several other pet talkers. AmberLee, RedHedd, Gina's Ark Inc., Wolflady, and NoahsMommy were all there. We all had a great time. After the show everyone except for RedHedd came over to my place and played with my furkids. Sunny and Cirrus were very scared though but after Sunny received a catnip toy from Auntie Kelly he became much more relaxed.:) Here are some pictures. Enjoy!:D

A bandana that I bought for Sunny at the cat show. I also bought one for Sky and Storm to share but these pictures didn't turn out very well.

This was one of the best shows I've been to in a long time. It was small, but the owners and handlers were SO nice - they let us pet and play with some of their cats.

I bought four new micies for my two - which they LOVED!

So sorry I couldn't make the trip down to KAK's afterwards, but I had another event to go to. It was a LONG day for me and then we lost an hour to boot!

No pics from me, as my camera is SO slow and clunky, it's more of a pain than anything else and I was out of batteries. I'm hoping to get a new camera once I have some extra money - may be a LONG time for that :rolleyes:

It was SO good to meet Gina's Ark and Noah's Mommy. Let's do it again soon!

Wow! I loved ALL the pictures! The ones of the cat show and the ones of all of you. (I was waving "HI" at all of you). Another PT meeting... This must be be the season for PT meetings and I am yet again, green with envy... 1- that you got to go to a cat show and 2- that you had a PT meeting!

Mike told me they are suppose to have a CFA cat show close to us next week end but I can't find any information on it to make sure he has the dates right.

My favorite picture was of you all together. What a happy bunch of wonderful PTer's! You can tell that you all had a good time.

Ooh Yes! There were sphinxes! Two of them - one reminded me of MooShoo, but they were hidden behind that dark screening that some of the show cages have and almost impossible to get a good picture of. I wanted to pet one, but their owners were nowhere to be seen - probably in the judging rings.

That bunny-butt Japanese Bobtail (male named Kirby) was SO entertaining and playful and another one we got to pet. His brother was a cute, odd-eyed orange and white with a little orange tail pom-pom.

Is this near to you? It seems to be the one Mike was telling you about, at least from what I see on the Cat Fancier's website...

Arrgh. This little cutie-pie LOVES to go riding on Meowmie's shoulder. We loved this little guy to pieces. I'm forgetting his breed though... He's a something Brown, and the most beatiful, smooth pelt you can imagine.

We greatly admired how handsome he stood out against his Meowmie's spring green top!

This is just a 'mood' shot showing how the judging booths were decorated. They had a basic theme of 'April showers bring May flowers' with decorated hats, shiny glass beads to represent rain drops, and cascades of flowers up the light supports. Each judge had a different color, and each judge also had a different color ribbon to present... Mainly pastels.

Very eye-catching and effective.

Oh, and yes this is the cat show that has the book sale as an extra fund raiser. I resisted to a certain extent, and merely got 24 books.* (Probably the most in our little group...)

NoahsMommy and WolfLady were interested in the books, too. I didn't notice if the others in our group did, too.

* Mainly mysteries, and many with an animal them. One book WL urged me to get was "Thor", which apparently has been enthusiastically endorsed here at Pet Talk!

Looks like alot of fun! I'm sorry that I didn't make it. I went skydiving in Santa Rosa that day...I was 2 1/2 hours late to that reservation, so there was no way I was going to make it to the cat show. Maybe next time!

We were laughing so much when the group shots were being taken as one of the judging rings had just finished and the handlers were taking their cats back to their cages. When each cat passed, there was a very audible "AWWW!" from our group.

plenty sweet owners would let me, us pet them! like redhedd said, very sweet owners. myself, never went to a cat show but I still was surprised how many of them would let us pet.. you know, owners on their LONG day would say ahh, this is 100th person gonna pet my tired precious....and still have a courage to say "sure.." or "sure!" :D

I enjoyed looking at everyone's pictures, even though I look like a huge cow! :( LOL

It was so much fun seeing everyone at the catshow and I especially enjoyed having Kelly come up and stay with me! Yay! It wasn't long enough! ;)
