   As told by the BBC:
"A Shetland pony on a UK farm has surprised its owners by giving birth to a half-zebra foal. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_1408000/1408717.stm)"

Hee hee - Jackiesdaisy, I think that WAS mother nature fooling around.

I WANT that foal! But I'm sure her owners do, too!

What a cutie! Nature is wonderful! As long as humans weren't messing around trying to come up with a hybrid to make money, I think it's ok. What really caught my eye was a link concerning allergy free cats http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_1411000/1411802.stm Are we ready for all of this. Are we interfering with nature a little too much?

HI everyone!

I've seen one of these guys...I think. lol

When traveling to see my parents, I pass a small horse farm. The past few times, I have noticed a 'strange' looking horse. He(?) is a bay with black markings that look remarkably like a zebra. I did a double take  the first time I saw him!

He is certainly is unusual but very, very pretty! I wonder how they acquired him, as this place is MILES and MILES away from any zoos/zebras!!!

He may be a Sulphur Springs Spanish Mustang - see Max http://PetoftheDay.com/archive/2000/October/29.html and compare!

That could be him...only the one I saw had more markings and they were all over his body.

Max is a cutie!
